Visiting Tokyo cannot go without staying in a traditional ryokan, at least for a night. This typical small Japanese house is a vibrant representation of Japanese culture, and it’s here that you’ll be able to feel how the Japanese live. With traditional futons and tatami instead of beds, an authentic ryokan Tokyo has on its list will provide you with an exceptional experience. Even though they are not that numerous in Tokyo, after the city was destroyed during the II World War, there are still some stylish and charming ryokans on the list.
